The Society has a number of specialist groups with interests ranging from excavation to research. General information and contact details for more information are here:
The Post Excavation Group meet as needed to process finds from our archaeological excavations. This usually involves sorting, washing, weighing, marking, bagging and finally storing the finds for future reference. Not the most glamorous part of an excavation but certainly essential!. For more information contact: fieldwork@sahs.org.uk.
The Library Archives Cataloguing Group meet on Thursday evenings at The Public Library, Vernon Road, Scarborough from 6:30 to 8:00pm.
