Architects and Civil Engineers of Scarborough Book Launch

The Society is pleased to host the launch of the revised and updated version of Architects and Civil Engineers of Scarborough: 1800 to 1914. The book was first published in 2001 by Anne and Paul Bayliss. For this revised and updated edition, Chris Hall has expanded the scope to include the period up to 1914, adding 39 new entries. Many of the original entries have been expanded in the light of new information.

The event will be held at the Old Parcels Office at 7.00pm for 7.30 on the 12th September with Chris Hall giving a short presentation about the background to the book and two of the architects involved in the work at the railway station.

Following Chris' talk, copies of the book will be available for sale at the discounted price of £8
