About the event

An Anglian Odyssey.   A trip from Lincolnshire to Suffolk was planned as a straightforward pick-up and return. However an unexpected turn of events quickly spiralled out of control creating an apparent serious security incident with possible career damaging / enhancing consequences. 


A long awaited recovery:  The windswept Cumbrian moors hold many secrets but a disappearance that had remained unexplained for 35 years was initially solved but led to several loose ends being finally tied up.  A series of parallel events began during this episode culminating in an emotionally happy conclusion.


About Don:

I am an indigenous Scarborian as  I was made in Scarborough (my parents met at a tea dance at the Corner Café).  But I left as a 19yr old to travel the world wearing a blue uniform and for 31 years helped the RAF to burn holes in the sky.  That journey saw me in the Outer Hebrides…
