A busy day today spent in the Old Parcels Office in Scarborough with members of the High Wolds Heritage Group cataloging finds from the Hanging Grimston excavation.
Lots of artefacts ranging from stone roof tiles to iron age pottery and butchered animal bones. Here are some pictures of a good (but slightly chilly) day fortified with coffee and Guinness cake!
